Covid-19 Update 23rd February 2021
Just a brief update that we hope finds you all safe and well.
Following the announcement yesterday by the prime Minister outlining how the current lockdown measures will begin to ease, and that the infection rates are coming down. We now believe that we will be able to resume our business activities by the end of March.
We have begun our re-start plan by devising a COVID-19 safe working risk assessment, the details of this will follow in a further email that will also contain a revised installation date for your order. Be assured that our number one priority remains the safety of our customers and staff at all times.
Should you wish to continue to defer your installation until you are ready then that is absolutely fine, just let us know by replying to this email.
In the meantime, we thank you all for your patience, understanding and continued support during these extremely challenging times, and we look forward to carrying out the installation of your order soon.

Covid-19 Update 11th January 2021
Due to the government restrictions, we have taken the difficult decision and as a duty of care to both customers and staff to suspend all our business activities including installations and will not be undertaking any new enquiries until further notice. We will monitor our email should you need to contact us regarding an existing order.
Covid-19 Update 5th January 2021
Following the devastating news announced by the prime minister yesterday, we have sadly had to suspend all our installations and surveys with immediate effect whilst we try to obtain more information and clarification around working in people’s homes.
Our Health and Safety advisers are looking to see if there are any significant changes to this lockdown from that of the previous ones where we have been forced to close, and a further update will be released as soon as we have that clarification.
The number one priority as always must be the safety of our customers, staff, and partners at all times, we believe that at this stage, and although extremely difficult for all concerned, this is the right action to take.
The current information is as with the previous lockdowns, this allows the provision for certain tradespeople to work in other people’s homes to carry out essential work. As interior door replacement is enhancement, this activity would not constitute essential work.
Our industry sector falls under the banner of Retail/Enhancement and is therefore nonessential and obliged to close under the latest restrictions.
May we just take a moment to firstly thank all our customers for there continued support and kind messages throughout these difficult and challenging times and to assure you that we will do everything we can to keep the disruption and delays down as much as we possibly can.

Covid-19 Business Update 16th November 2020
To all our valued customers
We just wanted to keep you updated with the ongoing restrictions and the impact this is having on the business.
As always, the safety of our customers, staff and suppliers is our priority and we continue to monitor the situation and follow the governments guidelines.
We hope to implement a new risk assessment shortly with a view to resuming our operations as soon as the current lockdown is lifted, subject to any new restrictions that may be put in place.
We therefore will hopefully be sending out revised fitting dates shortly for your attention. Please look out for this email and reply to us as soon as you can so that we can secure the date offered.
In addition to the impact of the lockdown restrictions, we are experiencing additional delays with some deliveries from our suppliers for both Doors and Ironmongery. As most of these commodities are imported our suppliers have advised us of delays to some of our orders or to parts of orders where some door sizes are delayed. You may have seen on the national news the problems the docks and importers are experiencing now because of the initial lockdown.
We are working closely with our suppliers and their representatives to keep across the situation and will advise any customer that is impacted by a prolonged delay due to any stock issues directly.

Coronavirus (Covid19) Business update 3rd November 2020
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 31st October we will reluctantly be suspending all installations, site surveys and service calls from Thursday the 5th November in line with the governments restrictions on none essential retail/installation. Furthermore, we will be unable to accept web orders or make any deliveries during this time. As we manage our business through these latest restrictions, our priority is to minimise the risk of transmitting the virus and to keep our customers and staff safe .
We will continue to assess and monitor all the guidance and information available, and provide updates as necessary. As soon as we are allowed to recommence our business activities, we will pick up where we left off and revised fitting dates will be sent to you via email for your approval.
We appreciate that the situation is not ideal but we are sure you are in agreement that we all need to listen to, and implement the advice given by the government to try to help slow the spread of the infection and ultimately beat this virus.

Covid-19 Business Update 11th June 2020
We are pleased to announce that from Monday the 15th of June, we will commence a phased restart of the business. With guidance from the Government we have developed clear COVID safe procedures covering all aspects of our business. This allows us to resume customer surveys, door installations, and be open for new business on-line and by phone.

Covid-19 Business Update 28th May 2020
The Safety, Health and Well-being of our staff, and customers continues to remain our No.1 priority.
Following the government’s announcement that retail can open from the 15th June 2020, we have modified our working processes and procedures to protect our staff and customers.
We have taken the decision to re-open and commence a phased restart including our Sales, delivery & Installation operations as of 15th of June 2020.
Our web sales will remain as normal, but with slightly longer delivery times.
Our installation work will commence from Tuesday the 16th June 2020. We would ask all our customers that have orders placed with us for installation to reply to this email update and advise us how they wish to proceed.
Please choose from one of the options below.
- Option 1. Please defer my installation until further notice.
- Option 2. Please send me a revised installation date to carry out the work.
Only one fitter will attend each household, they will be working within strict new safety regulations. These regulations include full compliance with current social distancing advice from PHE and follow the latest government guidelines. We have adapted our delivery & Installation processes to suit this new working environment.
Upon arrival at your property, the fitter will discuss with the customer the best practice to undertake the work. They will have a copy of HM Governments Working Safely in Other People’s Homes; A copy is attached to this email for your convenience. We would ask that you discuss with the fitter any concerns or additional procedures that you wish the fitter to follow while in your home.
We ask that you observe social distancing and try to keep all members of the household away from the areas the fitter is working in to minimise contact.
The fitter will carry all the necessary PPE and cleaning products, use single use disposable floor covering, clean all tools and equipment between jobs, provide their own refreshments and adhere to any additional measures that you may already have in place.
Customers with orders for delivery will be contacted during the next few days to arrange delivery.
When you receive an on-site delivery, our driver will annotate the delivery note with the name of the person who accepts the delivery, sign, date, and time the delivery note, and leave a copy with your goods. The copy our driver retains will be the legal proof of delivery. Please note that the goods will be left outside the property.

Covid -19 Business Update
COVID-19 Update Tuesday 12th May 2020 During the period since we suspended trading activity in late March, we have constantly reviewed how we can best support our customers’ requirements without compromising Safety. Our priority as always remains with and must be the safety of our customers and our team. Our business trade is classified under Retail/Installation and is currently classified “Non-Essential” This is due for review on the 1st of June 2020, subject to the governments Covid-19 recovery strategy. New guidelines have been issued following the Prime Ministers Statement on Sunday relating to people working in, visiting, or delivering to other people's homes. We are considering how we could carry out our installation work within residential homes safely using these guidelines together with our own safe working procedures that we already have in place and a further update will follow when we have more detail and clarity.
